It really great for promotional purchases so you can have time to pay large purchases without any interest. It also makes things easier to return and they send you discounts you can use with your card! If you shop at Home Depot a lot it's a great card to have and it's backed my Citi which i like.

The Home Depot Credit card really isn't worth it. You barely get discounts and you don't really get any special offers that non-card holders can't also get. In addition, if Citibank is the plaintiff, even if the OP had an FDCPA claim, it would have no effect on Citibankor its claimagainst the OP. You did have leverage until you refused to pay. It would be interesting to see the letters too because I am better they were less than kind. When they went to collect the money that you owe , you chose to get aggressive with them and they chose to, again, make an example out of you. Taking the advice of the board and filing arbitration and being aggressive seems to have seriously backfired.
